Solving a Problem
In the Spring of 2015, the team at Sofvue stumbled across a void in the marketplace and realized that viewing the development history for an office building was nearly impossible without considerable effort.  This led to the start of a multi-year project to learn about and provide the development ancestry for office developments across the Southwest, and eventually, the nation.  After several months of research, work begin to design and development a SaaS system for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) community, as well as the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) marketplace, allowing both markets to band together and create a single destination resource for the benefit of all.

Fast forward to 2019.  Today, the platform offers 16,000 office developments across 5 states, over 5,000 companies and nearly 300,000 data elements, from the architectural firms that designed a building to the monument companies that provided signage, and all construction components in between.  To ensure accuracy, every piece of information is validated before entry to the system.  This ensures we maintain 100% accuracy, while encouraging our members to provide and contribute information to further enhance, improve and keep current, information about office developments across the country.

We are on track to meet our long-range goals of having 100,000 office developments, 2,000,000 data elements and over 100,000 members by 2022, and to be known as the best single information resource tool across the AEC/CRE marketplace, specifically for office buildings and their associated sub-classes.
